Quiasia Carroll, 23, of Camden, was charged with intimidating a witness between June 6, 2018 and June 24, 2018, during and after the trial of State v. Tyhan Brown.

Quiaisa Carroll allegedly posted threatening public posts, as well as photos, on a social media website of a witness who was called to testify against Tyhan Brown.

On August 17, 2018, Quiasia Carroll was charged with second degree Retaliation Against Witnesses according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson. She was also charged with fourth degree Cyber Harassment.

Quiasia Carroll was arrested on August 29, 2018, through a combined effort of the US Marshals and Camden County Sheriff’s Department Special Investigation Unit and was remanded to Camden County Correctional Facility. She was remanded to Camden County Jail awaiting a detention hearing which is scheduled for September 5, 2018, in front of the Honorable Richard F. Wells, J.S.C.

All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
