Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Voorhees Police Chief Louis Bordi reported a Voorhees man was injured in a shooting incident on Friday night.
Voorhees Police responded to a 911 call of a 25-year-old victim who had been shot multiple times, on the 100 block of Kirkbride Road, Voorhees, February 3, 2017 at approximately 10:45 p.m.
The victim is being treated at a local hospital.
It is alleged the suspect and the victim got into a verbal and physical altercation. The victim and the suspect were known to each other.
A suspect has been charged with one count first-degree attempted murder, one count second-degree aggravated assault, and one count second-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.
The suspect has not been arrested at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
