Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported two were injured in a domestic violence-related stabbing early Saturday.

Jose Flores, M/30, of Camden, was charged Saturday with two counts of Attempted Murder. It is alleged Flores used a box cutter to cut the throat of a 37-year-old female at a home on the 2900 block of Yorkship Square at 4:45 a.m. The victim’s 19-year-old son heard his mother’s cries for help and attempted to intervene, and was himself cut in the neck by Flores.

Both victims are being treated at Cooper Hospital. The female is in critical but stable condition and her son is in stable condition.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
