Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and the Haddon Township Police Mark Cavallo reported two Haddon Township men have been arrested and charged Friday, June 16, 2017 with child pornography.
The High Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant on Friday morning at approximately 5:45 a.m. at a residence in Haddon Township. While at the residence, detectives preformed an onsite search on two computers inside the home.
Robert McKenna, a 51-year-old man who had been living in the residence, was arrested and charged with one (1) count of second degree Distribution of Child Pornography and one (1) count of third degree Possession of Child Pornography.
McKenna was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility pending the pretrial detention hearing in accordance with the New Jersey Bail Reform. Under the recent Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order McKenna be detained without bail or released with conditions.
Brandon Williams, 25, who was also living in the home, was arrested and charged with one count of third degree Possession of Child Pornography. Williams was processed at the Haddon Township Police Department and released on a summons.
Detectives seized multiple electronic devices from the residence which were then sent to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Forensic Lab to be analyzed.
The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives were assisted on this case by members of the Haddon Township Police Department and Camden County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT).
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
