Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo reported a West Berlin woman was sentenced Friday to a 20 term of imprisonment for a 2013 killing in Oaklyn.
Superior Court Judge John T. Kelley sentenced Shakeysha Pruitt, F/25, in a hearing Friday. She must serve 85 percent of her term before she is eligible for parole.
Pruit pleaded guilty in June to Aggravated Manslaughter. She admitted to killing Kafarr Logan-Horton, M/33, on July 28, 2013. She admitted to going to Logan-Horton’s home on the 200 block of West Clinton Avenue in Oaklyn. They got in an argument and Pruitt admitted to stabbing him with a knife from his own kitchen.
