Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk reported a sentencing of a Camden man who pleaded guilty in April to killing his former girlfriend.
Superior Court Judge Gwendolyn Blue sentenced Robert Norwood, M/49, of Camden, to 27 years incarceration in a New Jersey state prison during a hearing Wednesday. He must serve 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
Norwood pleaded guilty to Aggravated Manslaughter for killing Walkeena Moody, F/24.
Norwood admitted that he fatally stabbed Moody in her home in the Ferry Station Apartments on December 5, 2012. Her injuries included stab wounds to her head and body.
