Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk reported the office is seeking Registered Nurses to be trained as Forensic Nurse Examiners-Certified in Sexual Assault.

These nurses will respond to victims of sexual assault and play a key role in both collecting evidence necessary for convicting a rapist and offering dignity and understanding to those who are the victims of sexual assault.

Interviews for the nurse positions are currently being conducted by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s Forensic Nurse Examiner Unit. All applicants must be Registered Nurses with at least 2 years of recent clinical experience and be available to complete the Basic Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners Course for certification through the Board of Nursing. The Basic SANE Course will take place at Monmouth University. If you would like to be considered for the Basic Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners course for certification and employment resumes should be sent to Francina Pendergrass, FNE/SART Coordinator at her email address or faxed to 856-580-6050.
