Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Winslow Police Chief Robert Stimelski are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Winslow man.
Winslow Police received a 911 call around 5:45 a.m. today from a man who identified himself as 61-year-old James Wharton. He reported he had become lost in the woods after leaving a friend’s residence in the area of Berlin-Cross Keys Road and Sharp Avenue in Winslow to walk home. Wharton called 911 again around 6:40 a.m. to report he was still lost. Police have not had contact with him since then.
Wharton is described as a Caucasian male standing 5-foot-8 and weighing about 140 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair. A photo of Wharton is posted below.
