Today, Edward Brogan, 62, of Pennsauken, was sentenced to a term of 7 years in New Jersey State Prison by the Honorable Judge Francisco Dominguez. In addition to his prison sentence, he is also subject to the full penalties of Megan’s Law and Parole Supervision for Life.

A search warrant was executed on July 28, 2017 at Mr. Brogan’s residence on the 2500 block of Doral Avenue in Pennsauken. In addition to him admitting he downloaded child pornography, it was also found on Mr. Brogan’s laptop during an on-scene examination.

At the trial, Assistant Prosecutor Keith Carmy presented evidence showing that Edward Brogan used “peer to peer” sharing software to download child pornography. A jury found Edward Brogan guilty of Maintaining Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography after approximately 21 minutes of deliberation on March 19, 2019.
