Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Oaklyn Police Chief Joe Abbate reported a homicide in the borough Sunday afternoon.

Kafarr Logan-Horton, M/33, of Oaklyn, was stabbed once at his home on the 200 block of West Clinton Avenue Sunday afternoon. He was brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden about 12:30 p.m. and died there at 2:37 p.m.

Tuesday night Detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Oaklyn Police arrested and charged Shakeysha Pruitt, F/24, of West Berlin, with Murder.

Pruitt is accused of being in the victim’s home Sunday afternoon and becoming angry with Logan- Horton. Pruitt is charged with going into his kitchen, getting a knife and stabbing him. Pruitt was with the victim when he went to the hospital but left without identifying herself to authorities. She was found at her parents’ home Tuesday afternoon and brought to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Superior Court Judge Lee Solomon ordered Pruitt held on $1 million bail Wednesday afternoon.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
