WHAT:  The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Audubon Police Department are seeking information about a fatal hit and run that killed a pedestrian in Audubon.

Christopher Dean, 36, of Audubon, was found lying on the side of road near the intersection of West Graisbury and West Atlantic avenues at approximately 10:40 p.m. April 9, 2015.  He was transported by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 11:42 p.m.

An autopsy was conducted and a medical examiner ruled Dean’s cause of death to be blunt force trauma consistent to being struck by a motor vehicle.  The manner of his death is pending.

Members of Dean’s family and detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Audubon Police Department are meeting at the site of the hit and run to distribute flyers and canvass the area for new information. Both family members and detectives will be available to speak to reporters Tuesday morning.
