Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson are seeking the public’s assistance in finding the man responsible for a June homicide that left another man injured.

Daryl Demby, M/25, of Camden, is wanted on a charge of Murder and Attempted Murder for the killing of De’quan Rogers, M/20, on June 24, 2013. Demby was charged July 8 and has been sought by the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force since then. He is to be considered armed and dangerous. A photograph of the fugitive is attached.

One man, Jamal Brown, M/24, of Camden, has already been charged and arrested in connection with Rogers’ killing. Brown is charged with Murder and Attempted Murder and is being held at the Camden County Jail on $2 million bail.

It is alleged Demby and Brown opened fire on Rogers and another man as they sat on a porch on the 1000 block of Morton Street about 11:25 p.m. Rogers was struck in the head and died immediately. The other man, a Camden 19-year-old, was struck multiple times but survived his injuries.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Demby is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately.
