Zachary Rivera, 28, of Lindenwold, was charged with Distribution of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Lindenwold Police Chief Thomas Brennan.
Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Members of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) – Cherry Hill Office executed a search warrant on February 1, 2019, for Zachary Rivera’s residence on the 400 block of East Gibbsboro Road in Lindenwold. An on-site preview of Rivera’s computer led to the above charges being filed against him. Authorities also located numerous digital devices that were taken to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s HTCU Forensic Lab to be analyzed.
Zachary Rivera was transported to the Lindenwold Police Department where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. Under Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order that he be detained without bail or released with conditions.
The Lindenwold Police Department, the Camden County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT) and a New Jersey State Police K9 forensic dog assisted the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives and HSI Cherry Hill on this case.
The investigation is ongoing.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
