A jury found Leo Little, Jr., 36, guilty of second degree Persons Not to Possess Firearms. The jury also found Little guilty of two counts of fourth degree Aggravated Assault, one count of second degree Possession of a Firearm for an Unlawful Purpose, and one count of second degree Unlawful Possession of a Handgun.
At the trial, Assistant Prosecutor Alison L. Doyle presented evidence and testimony showing that Little was involved in a car accident with a taxicab on May 26, 2016, in Camden. Following the accident, an argument over the damages ensued and Little pointed a firearm at the victim, the taxicab driver, and the victim’s fiancé, who was a passenger in the taxicab. Little fled the scene on foot following the incident.
Leo Little, who faces the possibility of a minimum of 5 years to a maximum of 33 years, is scheduled for sentencing before the Honorable Frederick J. Schuck on January 26, 2018.
