Camden County Prosecutor Warren E. Faulk reported a Camden man has been indicted for a 2012 murder. A Grand Jury handed down the indictments on April 16 and they were returned today.

Alexander Lopez, 32, and Misael Lopez, 18, two brothers, both of Camden, were each indicted by a Grand Jury on counts of Murder, Felony Murder, Burglary and Weapons Offenses.

They are accused of killing Louis Antonio Narvaez-Betancourt, M/32, and Jose Ariel Paynes Garcia, both of the 100 block of N. 24th Street, Camden, about 11:15 p.m. on March 17. The killings are alleged to have taken place during a home invasion at the victims’ address.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
