Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk Camden and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported the arrest of a man accused of shooting three, one of them fatally, on the streets of Camden this month.

Rhumeir Money, M/18, who has addresses in Camden, Beverly and Sicklerville, was ordered held Friday on $1 million bail by Superior Court Judge Lee Solomon. Money was charged Thursday night with Murder and two counts of Attempted Murder in connection with the June 15 shooting at 3rd and Vine streets.

It is alleged Money drove to the intersection of 3rd and Vine about 6:30 p.m. that Thursday night in a black Jeep Cherokee and stepped out of the vehicle to fire a handgun at Brian Burnett, M/23, Jeroboan Fisher, M/18 and Carlos Perry, M/17, who were standing at the corner.

Burnett was struck and fell at the corner. He was pronounced dead a half hour later at Cooper Hospital. The other two were struck and ran to the 600 block of 4th Street, where they were located by authorities. Fisher is still being treated at Cooper Hospital. Perry was released.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
