The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Haddon Township Police Department have identified the victim of a hit-and-run over last weekend.
Felemone Negrete-Ponce, 35, of Camden was riding a bike that was struck by a vehicle Saturday (6/18/16) at approximately 12:05 a.m. in the area of the Black Horse Pike and Pershing Avenue.
He is listed in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital.
Richard Bennett, 68, of Haddon Heights arrived at the Haddon Heights Police Department at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and said he believed he had struck someone with his vehicle on the Black Horse Pike.
Bennett was charged by the Haddon Township Police Department with leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury and endangering an injured victim. Bail was set and he posted bail.
