Camden, N.J. – Each year, Giving Tuesday is a way for the community to rally together and give back to those who need it most through donating to charity. In 2020, it’s more important than ever to help those who are in need, and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office is highlighting some Camden County charities accepting donations.
“Though many people donate to charities throughout the year, Giving Tuesday is an annual event that raises awareness by highlighting different charities during a one-day period, making it easy for people to get involved,” said Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer. “We know so many families have been affected during this pandemic, so there are more people than ever that might need help. If you’re able to donate to a local charity, participating in Giving Tuesday is an easy, socially-distant way to truly help your neighbor.”
