The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Gloucester Township Police Department are continuing to investigate the 2013 suspicious death of a Gloucester Township woman and are releasing a new video about the case.
The body of 59-year-old Carol Reiff was found in a wooded area near the Lakeview Apartments on Lower Landing Road on June 24, 2013. Reiff, who lived at the apartment complex, was last heard from the night of June 20, 2013.
The circumstances surrounding Reiff’s death remain undetermined. The cause and manner of her death are listed as pending.
Though Reiff’s death has not been ruled a homicide by the Medical Examiner’s Office, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Gloucester Township Police Department are continuing to treat the inquiry into the circumstances surrounding her death as a criminal investigation. Detectives from both agencies are actively investigating the matter. The probe is being overseen by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit.
In an effort to generate new leads, the Gloucester Township Police Department worked with Reiff’s family to create a detailed video about the case. The new video may be viewed here: https://youtu.be/4JRfr7CyNOY
