Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Collingswood Police Chief Richard Sarlo are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a gas station and stabbed an attendant Friday evening.

Surveillance video taken at the Gulf Gas Station on Route 130 caught images of the man shortly before the robbery took place. The suspect pulled up to the gas station in a Honda Odyssey minivan about 5:45 p.m. Friday, February 15. He got out of his vehicle, grabbed an attendant working at the gas station and tried to rob him. That victim wrestled free and a second employee who tried to help was stabbed in the hand. His injuries have been treated and he was released from the hospital.

The robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. The vehicle he drove, which was traced back to a carjacking in Pennsylvania, was abandoned in Camden and recovered by police on Sunday morning at Federal Street and Marlton Pike.

Video of the suspect is attached.
