Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson announced an arrest has been made in connection with a city homicide.

Jacob Llera, 20, of Camden, is charged with first-degree murder in the killing of 19-year-old Saadiq Coleman.

Llera is accused of shooting Coleman multiple times in the area of Broadway and Benson Street in Camden shortly before 8:30 p.m. on September 8, 2015.

He is currently being held in Philadelphia and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
