Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Cherry Hill Police Chief Bud Monaghan reported a Cherry Hill man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a child at his home.
A jury on Friday found 34-year-old Jose Duran-Santana guilty of second-degree sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13 and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Duran-Santana was arrested on April 15, 2013, for inappropriately touching an 8-year-old girl’s genitals at his home earlier that day.
The defendant faces a maximum aggregate sentence of 15 years in state prison. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 21.
