Camden, N.J. — On June 5, the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Special Prosecutions Unit received videos and multiple complaints from the public regarding a Woodlynne Police Department officer’s use-of-force. In accordance with the Attorney General’s Directive on Internal Affairs Policy and Procedures, 2019-5, the Woodlynne Police Department referred the matter to the Special Prosecutions Unit of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office for investigation. The officer in question has been suspended without pay by the Woodlynne Police Department pending a review of the matter.
