Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported the following unsolved, nonfatal shootings in the city this weekend.

The first was reported Saturday, August 3, about 11 p.m. Two men were found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds near the 1100 block of Jackson Street in Camden. Both were taken to Cooper Hospital for treatment.

The second shooting was reported Sunday shortly before 10 a.m. at 24th and Federal streets. A 32- year-old Camden man was found on the street with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was approached by a Hispanic man and shot multiple times. The victim is in critical condition at Cooper Hospital.

The shooter is described as standing between five feet, eight inches and five feet, nine inches, age 25 to 30, with short black hair and a heavy build. He was wearing black baggy pants and a black tee shirt. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Bob Ferris at (856) 225-8400.
