Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a Camden man received an aggregate sentence of 20 years in prison for fatally shooting a Camden man in the city in 2013.
Marcus Williams, 26, pleaded guilty on January 30, 2017 to one count of aggravated manslaughter in the death of 29-year-old Rasheef Wise.
Williams shot Rasheef Wise multiple times in a parking lot on the 3100 block of Westfield Avenue in Camden at approximately 11:09 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2013.
In accordance with the plea agreement that had been reached by Assistant Prosecutor Lauren Pratter, Williams will be required to serve a minimum of 85 percent of his 20-year sentence in State prison before he is eligible for parole. The sentence was imposed on Friday, March 3, 2017 by Superior Court Judge John T. Kelley, J.S.C..
