Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thompson reported a Camden man has admitted in court to fatally shooting a Camden man in the city in 2013.
Marcus Williams, 26, pleaded guilty on Monday, January 30, 2017, to first degree aggravated manslaughter in the death of 29-year-old Rasheef Wise of Camden.
Rasheef Wise was shot multiple times in a parking lot on the 3100 block of Westfield Avenue in Camden at approximately 11:09 p.m. on Monday, September 2, 2013.
Under the terms of the plea agreement reached by Assistant Prosecutor Lauren Pratter, Williams will be sentenced to 20 years in New Jersey State prison. He will be required to serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
Marcus Williams is scheduled to be sentenced on March 3, 2017 before Superior Court Judge John T. Kelley.
