Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk reported a Camden man pleaded guilty Monday to killing his former girlfriend.
Robert Norwood, M/49, of Camden, pleaded guilty Monday to a count of Aggravated Manslaughter for the killing of Walkeena Moody, F/24. The plea carried an expected sentence of 27 years incarceration, 85 percent of which he must serve before he is eligible for parole.
Norwood admitted before Superior Court Judge Gwendolyn Blue that he fatally stabbed Moody in her home in the Ferry Station Apartments on December 5, 2012. Her injuries included stab wounds to her head and body.
Norwood is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Blue on June 6.
