Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo, Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson, Cherry Hill Police Chief William Monaghan and Deptford Police Chief William Hanstein reported a Camden man has admitted in court to armed robberies in Deptford, Cherry Hill and Camden.
Jesse Santana, 34, pleaded guilty on Tuesday (5/24/16) to six counts of armed robbery – one count each in Deptford and Cherry Hill and four counts in Camden.
Santana admitted to committing the robberies in October and November of 2012.
Under the terms of the plea, Santana will be sentenced to 18 years in state prison. He will be required to serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
Santana’s co-defendant Stephanie Tyris, 23, of Voorhees pleaded guilty to second-degree conspiracy to commit robbery. She was sentenced to five years in state prison on February, 7, 2014. Tyris is required to serve at least 85 percent of her sentence before she is eligible for parole.
Santana is scheduled to be sentenced July, 15 2016 before Superior Court Judge Michelle M. Fox.
