Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk reported the indictment of a Camden man in connection with a homicide in Lawnside in 2013.
A Grand Jury indicted Nestor Torres, M/31, of Camden on counts of Murder, 1st degree Felony Murder, 1st degree Kidnapping, 2nd degree Burglary, two counts of 2nd degree Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, 2nd degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, 2nd degree Aggravated Assault, 3rd degree Aggravated Assault, 2nd degree Burglary and Certain Persons not to Possess a Weapon.
Torres was indicted for the February 23, 2013 shooting death of Stephon Cushion, M/27, of Camden. Torres is accused of shooting Cushion multiple times in the bedroom of a home on the 400 block of Company Street in Lawnside.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
