Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported two homicides in the city Wednesday and Thursday.

The first was reported shortly before midnight Wednesday at the 1300 block of Sayrs Avenue. The victim, Gregory C. Medley, M/26, of Pleasantville, NJ, was shot multiple times. He was pronounced at Cooper Hospital in Camden at 2:35 a.m. Thursday.

The case is being investigated by Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Anthony Roccia at (856) 365-3122 and Camden County Police Detective Luis Sanchez at (856) 757-7420.

The second victim, Kevin Alicea, M/19, of Camden, was found dead about 11:30 a.m. Thursday at 28th and Adams streets. An autopsy scheduled for tomorrow will confirm cause of death.
