Camden Homicide – 11/21/2015

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a homicide in the city late last night.

At approximately 10:35 PM on Friday, November 20, 2015  Camden County Metro Police received a shot spotter activation in the area of Branch Village. A vehicle with several bullet holes along with several shell casings were located but officers did not locate any victims.  While circulating the scene, Officers located a male, later identified as, Quandale Barns, age 29, on the 1700 block of S. 9th Street suffering from two gunshot wounds.    Barns, was transported to Cooper Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at approximately 11:47 PM, 11/20/2015.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.  No arrests have been made at this time.
