Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a homicide in the city.

Camden County Police were dispatched around 4:53 a.m. Tuesday (2/24/15) to the River Road Trucking Company on the 1700 block of River Road in Camden for a report of an unconscious male who was bleeding from the mouth.

The victim, Harry J. Hogans Jr., M/66, a Camden resident and employee of the trucking company, was located in a reclining chair inside the business.

Hogans was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was pronounced dead around 5:27 a.m.  An autopsy revealed his cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head.

The investigation is ongoing.  No arrests have been made at this time.
