Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a homicide in the city Sunday.

Timothy Loper Jr., M/27, with addresses in Clementon and Blackwood, was shot multiple times at 2md and Spruce streets in Camden at 2:46 a.m. It appears Loper, a former U.S. Marine, observed a fight in the parking lot of the restaurant 20 Horse Tavern and attempted to intervene. He was not a participant in the fight.

A man is wanted for questioning in connection with the killing. The man is bearded with a muscular build. A video which depicts him inside the restaurant before the shooting can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIOivC35ye4
