Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a teenager was fatally shot in the city last night.

Camden County Police responded at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Thursday to the 2900 block of Line Street in Camden in reference to a ShotSpotter activation and 911 calls reporting a shooting.

Officers arrived and found the victim, Nathaniel Plummer, Jr., 13, of Camden, lying on the sidewalk.  He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 12:14 a.m. on Friday.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
