Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a homicide in the city this weekend.

Kevin Jackson, M/25, of Camden, was shot once Saturday night about 7:15 p.m. in the area of Ware and Master Streets in Camden. Jackson was pronounced dead about a half hour later at Cooper Hospital.

Also injured in the shooting was a 30-year-old female, also from Camden. The two victims appear to have been in a wooded area near railroad tracks under Interstate 676 when they were shot.
