Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Voorhees Police Chief Louis Bordi reported the autopsy results for two people who died in a fatal shooting at an assisted living facility yesterday.

Post-mortem examinations were conducted today for George Buller III, 62, of Lumberton, and his 85-year-old mother, Andree Buller.  The medical examiner ruled the manner of George Buller’s death to be suicide and the cause of death was determined to be from a gunshot wound.  Andree Buller’s manner of death was ruled a homicide and the cause of death was determined to be from gunshot wounds.

Voorhees Police were called at approximately 5:44 p.m. on Sunday to Genesis HealthCare on the 3000 block of E. Evesham Road in Voorhees for a report of a shooting.

Preliminary findings indicate George Buller fatally shot his mother while the two were alone in a family room at the facility.  He then fatally shot himself as a staff member entered the room.  Both were pronounced deceased via telemetry at 6:08 p.m.
