Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Audubon Police Chief Thomas Tassi are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men responsible for a July convenience store robbery.

The two men robbed the Speedy Mart Convenience Store on the 200 block of W. Merchant Street in Audubon about 9:30 p.m. on July 31. The men blocked an employee entrance with a trash can and while one held the trash can the other entered the business armed with a small black revolver. The man, whose face was covered with a black bandana, demanded money from the cashier and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The two men were last seen on foot heading toward W. Nicholson Road.

After reviewing surveillance video from the store, the business’ owner noticed an unsuccessful break- in attempt about 2 a.m. the same day. It appears the same two men attempted, unsuccessfully, to force the door with a crowbar.

Video of the two men is attached.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Audubon Police Detective Tim Stillman at (856) 547- 3487 ex. 148.
