Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk, Lindenwold Police Chief Thomas Brennan and Gloucester Township Police Chief Harry Earle reported the arrest of an Atco man for a shooting in Lindenwold last month.
Anthony Adams, M/28, of Atco, was arrested Sunday on charges of Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault and weapons offenses. He was taken into custody by Gloucester Township Police at a friend’s home in Gloucester Township.
Adams is accused of beating and shooting a 34-year-old at the Arborwood Apartments at 6:57 p.m. on April 20. The victim was sitting in a car when shot, and after being injured got out of the vehicle and collapsed in the apartment courtyard. He is recovering from his injuries at Cooper Hospital.
Adams is being held on $1 million bail at the Camden County Jail.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
