Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Merchantville Police Chief Wayne Bauer reported an arrest in an August bank robbery in the borough.
Damon Williams, M/35, of Pennsauken, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Thursday on a 2nd degree Robbery charge as he reported to a parole office in Camden.
Williams is accused of robbing Bank of America at the first block of W. Maple Avenue on August 13, 2014. He presented the teller with a note demanding money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
