Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported a man was arrested in connection with a Sunday morning shooting in Camden.

Terron Perry, M/26, of Camden, is charged with Attempted Murder and weapons charges. He is being held at the Camden County Jail.

Perry is accused of shooting multiple times a 32-year-old Camden man on the 700 block of Line Street about 5:45 a.m. Sunday. The victim is being treated at Cooper Hospital and is in critical but stable condition.

The Prosecutor and Chief Thomson credited heads up police work and interagency cooperation for the quick arrest in the case. Information received at the scene and surveillance camera footage allowed investigators to identify a white 2012 Chevrolet Equinox used as a getaway vehicle. Perry was identified as the SUV’s driver and charges against him were signed Sunday afternoon. He was in custody by 6:15 p.m. Sunday, arrested at his home on the 1200 block of Princess Avenue in Camden.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
