Camden County Prosecutor Warren Faulk is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who attacked a DRPA officer earlier this month.
The DRPA officer was in his parked patrol vehicle on August 17 on Ferry Avenue and Davis Street patrolling the nearby PATCO speed-line parking lot when he was punched in the face without provocation by an unidentified man. The assailant may have had something held in his hand which increased the severity of the injuries. The officer suffered contusions and abrasions as well as damage to his right eye. He attempted to pursue the attacker but the suspect was able to elude the officer.
The attacker was described as a Hispanic man standing five feet, seven inches to five feet, nine inches tall, with a slim build and close cropped, receding dark hair. A link to a video of the attacker is included below.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the person responsible for this assault should contact Detective Gerald Torres of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at (856) 225-8617 or (856) 580-2046.
Information may also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
