Camden County Prosecutor Warren W. Faulk and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson reported an arrest in an August double homicide in Camden.
Superior Court Judge Lee Solomon ordered Juan Rodriguez, M/31, of Camden, held on $2 million bail Friday in connection with the August 31, 2013 killings of Leonny Vazquez, M/34 and Adrian Medina, M/27, both of Camden.
It is alleged that about 11:30 p.m. on the 500 block of Erie Street, Vasquez engaged in an argument with Rodriguez that ended when Rodriguez drew a firearm and shot Vasquez. Rodriguez is further accused of then walking to Vasquez’s 2000 Chevrolet Impala, where Medina sat in the passenger seat, and fatally shooting that man as well.
All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
