Additional charges have been filed against Edmond Brown, Jr. the individual who was shot by a Haddon Township police officer on Saturday, October 29, 2016.

A search of the vehicle that Brown was operating at the time of the motor vehicle stop revealed a fully loaded Smith and Wesson .357 magnum revolver along with additional ammunition.   He was charged with second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and second-degree Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by Certain Persons.  Bail was set at $100,000, 10%.

The incident remains under investigation by the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

No additional information is being released at this time.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
