The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office was honored to host Acting New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin, First Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Davenport, Director Lyndsay Ruotolo, and Chief of Detectives Weldon Powell at the Governor James J. Florio Center for Public Service on Friday, March 25, 2022.
It was an amazing opportunity for our Administration to share with General Platkin and his Executive team the progressive and innovative initiatives we and our partners have utilized in Camden County to dramatically reduce violent crime, including our efforts to bridge the gap between law enforcement and our community through the efforts of our newly created Community Outreach and Engagement Unit.
Afterward, General Platkin addressed the entire Camden County Prosecutor’s Office staff. “Thank you for the work that you do,” he said. “Every day, each and every one of you makes decisions that affect the lives of your neighbors, your family, friends, strangers that keep the community that you live in safe.” General Platkin shared his vision for a better and safer New Jersey. We are excited to implement that vision here in Camden County.
We would like to once again thank General Platkin and his Executive team for visiting and sharing with us.
